All Paramount positions have basic requirements that determine eligibility for employment. In addition to the basic requirements, specific position requirements will be included in the description of each position. The basic requirements are as follows:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to help others
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Flexible working hours and schedule
  • Willing to successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Willing to obtain a TB test and provide results to Paramount
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening
  • May have to complete an automobile inspection

We currently have the following positions open:

Direct Support Professional – apply!

  • Provide protective oversight to individuals in the home and community
  • Work with individuals to help them acquire life skills and reinforce learning using prescribed methodologies and techniques for instructions
  • Provide transportation for health, business and recreational activities
  • Accompany and assist individuals in accessing community resources and participating in community activities and events
  • Implement personal supports and strategies based on an individual’s plan
  • Complete required reports and other documentation in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report individual’s progress
  • Perform other related duties as required

Hours – part time, varies

Rate of Pay – Based on experience

 

Job Coach – apply!

  • Age 21 or older
  • Transport and support individual throughout training
  • Transport and stay with the individual at the work place throughout their shift until supports are no longer needed
  • Assist and support individual in the workplace, 1:1 to learn the skills required of the job
  • Facilitate communication between employer and employee
  • Report to Employment Services Supervisor
  • Document daily progress
  • Attend and participate in ISP meetings
  • Other duties as needed

Hours – Vary, depending on needs of individuals

Rate of Pay – Based on experience

 

Vehicle Operator – apply!

  • To transport individuals to and from agency facilities, workshops, appointments, trips, and outings with proper assistance and care.
  • Able to operate a wheelchair lift.
  • Learn and utilize all special and or adaptive equipment with proficiency for those served.
  • Good driving history required.
  • Pre-employment drug test.

Hours – Vary, depending on needs of individuals

Residential Supervisor – apply!

  •  Supervise direct care professionals to include: interviewing and hiring, orientation and training, yearly written evaluations and disciplinary action as per personnel policies.
  •  Develop and maintain/modify schedule as set by the ISP or as needed.
  •  Attend all meetings involving the individual (ISP’s and vocational) as requested.
  •  Monitor services provided to the individual by developing a relationship of trust with the individual, and together evaluating the quality of the service.
  •  Respond to emergency situations on an “on-call” basis per standards and/or policies of the company.
  •  Participate in the orientation and training of employees throughout the company as needed and initiate obtaining other training as needed.
  • Coordinate all trainings with the Training Coordinator.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Nurse – apply!

  •  Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to holistically care for individuals receiving services from Paramount Support       Services.
  •  Provide input for ISP based on knowledge of individual and their history, as needed.
  •  To monitor the health care of individuals in accordance with their ISP or care plans, as needed.
  •  Provide education and support to individuals regarding health and wellness so that they can make informed decisions concerning their lifestyle choices.
  •  Function as staff resource for any medical, dental, and social service appointment questions on behalf of individuals served.
  •  Review documentation completed by Direct Support Professionals to check for accuracy and ensure that ISP’s and/or nursing care plans are being adhered to, as needed.
  •  Monitor staff members that are trained in administering medications and medical treatment according to documented procedures. Follow Delegated Nursing guidelines in the administration of all medicine and treatments
  • Perform other related duties as required
